You Never Know

The one thing that most people here have in their heads is they never know whether anyone else (you) is being honest, so they won't let themselves be emotionally involved until they are a lot more sure of something.  So you never know if it's just that, or if they are actively trying to deceive you.   You sure can't find out she loves you through a webcam because she can't love you yet.

I think the conventional wisdom is that you are supposed to never send money to someone you haven't met in person (oops), visit the PI with an open mind, visit that girl and some other girls if it feels right to you (never lie though), stay away from prostitutes, and just enjoy the trip - if something happens with the relationship then that's a bonus.
