Multa (fine) for Skipping Town Meeting: 50 pesos ($1)

 In this town in the Philippines, you're fined 50 pesos if nobody from your family attends the town meeting.  I think this is typical for small towns - this one is in the hills of Dauin, Negros Oriental.
