H1N1 Swine Flu in the Philippines? Quarantined in Cebu and Manila?

 I'm not worried.  Probably you don't need to be, either.  The health officials have begun quarantining some people in Cebu (http://ph.news.yahoo.com/star/20090505/tph-quarantined-cebu-possible-swine-flu-541dfb4.html) who appear to have the H1N1 flu.  In Manila, they've also found a few people with the flu (http://ph.news.yahoo.com/afp/20090525/tap-health-flu-philippines-5cc1ef8_1.html).  

Well, the flu happens.  Some people who already were on the verge of death die.  But people who are basically healthy fight off these colds.  Nobody really understands why we get colds.  But we do know that if you generally eat healthy food and get a normal amount of sleep, you've got very, very good odds against viruses like this one.  Your body will produce antibodies and fight it off, "swine" or not, it's just the flu.

So get some sleep and don't eat too much; drink some fruit juice, and you'll be fine.
