I have been to 16 countries and counting. The Philippines is definitely on my list to visit someday. What areas should I visit? What are the touristy things?

the countryside
I personally appreciate the countryside in the Philippines. The people are almost all very nice and speak some English. Easy to get to know people. I'm not sure what the touristy things are, though. I've never been to Banaue but would like to go someday. Probably the beach would qualify as a touristy thing. There are certainly many famous beach areas in the Philippines.
